Fresh Water Lobster

Freshwater Lobsters (commonly called Crayfish) are bottom-dwelling crustaceans known for their hard exoskeletons, large front claws, and miniature ocean-lobster appearance.
Appearance: Features large pinchers, long feelers, and bright colors ranging from electric blue and orange to red and white.
Size: Grows to about 4–6 inches (10–15 cm) depending on the species.
Behavior: Territorial scavengers that hide during the day and dig through substrate; will hunt small fish if caught.
Care: Needs a secure tank lid (prone to escaping), hides like caves/driftwood, and hard water (70–78°F / 21–25°C) to build strong shells.
